Sock Wars #1 (a sad tale)

Sock Wars Warrior Button           Way back, when I told all my friends about sock wars, they wisely said “I don’t have time to do that.” I said, “but it will be FUN!”

My Sock Wars Arsenal                  Here it is, the second day of sock wars, and I haven’t even knitted my gauge swatch. I have the yarn, a lovely ball of Classic Yarns Cashsoft DK. It is so incredibly soft – merino, cashmere, and microfiber. I’ve had 2 or 3 weeks to knit the gauge swatch. No excuses.

I am so delusional to think that in addition to all my other commitments, I could do this. I feel so bad for my assassin. He or she is probably turning the heel as I type, and is going to be quite surprized when s/he kills me and receives a few paltry stitches in return. Well, I am not going to give up – I’m going to try to get this baby started tonight. This is going to be FUN, not an additional stress in my life.

Half a league, half a league, half a league onward.
Into the valley of death charged the [one-that’s me].

Stay tuned.

P.S. Did I mention this yarn is soft?

yours is not to reason why, yours is but to die, in this case 😉

but who knows? I mean, *your* assasin could be even busier and more over-committed than you! Knit on!
